What is happening?
We are excited to share the opportunity to potentially participate in an international performance trip to Beijing! This unique experience will include singing alongside choirs from around the world, creating a powerful moment of unity, music, and cultural exchange. The festival, organized by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.
Itinerary
Tentative Itinerary:
July 9 (Wednesday)
All day arrival of guests in Fuzhou, Fujian Province
Evening Meeting and Welcome Banquet
July 10 (Thursday)
Morning Opening Ceremony of the 2025 China-U.S. Youth Choir Festival
Afternoon Visit Kuliang
July 11 (Friday)
Morning Conducting Master Classes; Choirs visit schools and communities, etc.
Afternoon Visit the Fuzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center
Evening Special Choral Performance
July 12 (Saturday)
Visit to the historical and cultural blocks of Sanfang Qixiang and the historical area of Yantai Mountain
July 13 (Sunday)
Travel to Beijing
July 14 (Monday)

Is it all expenses paid?
All international travel, lodging, ground transportation and food catered by host are the expenses that will be covered; however, securing the necessary travel documents will be the responsibility of each participant.
Do I need a vaccine?
Travelers to Beijing, China, are not required to have specific vaccinations for entry unless they are arriving from a country with a high risk of yellow fever. However, health authorities recommend that all international travelers ensure they are up to date on routine vaccinations.

We are excited to share the opportunity to potentially participate in an international performance trip to Beijing! This unique experience will include singing alongside choirs from around the world, creating a powerful moment of unity, music, and cultural exchange.
At this stage, we are building a preliminary roster of those who are interested. Please note that this is not an official confirmation of participation. Final selections will be made and communicated at a later time. We ask that you remain engaged and responsive as we continue to finalize logistics.
If selected, participants will need to have a valid passport and obtain a visa to travel to China. Our team will offer support and guidance throughout the visa application process. All international travel, lodging, ground transportation and food expenses will be covered; however, securing the necessary travel documents will be the responsibility of each participant.

1. Travel Coverage & Expectations
Flight, lodging, in-country transportation, and meals will be provided at no cost to participants.
This is a volunteer trip; no compensation will be given for participation.
Participants are expected to follow the provided itinerary and engage fully in all scheduled activities.
Respect for cultural norms, local laws, and team leadership is required at all times.
2. Liability Waiver & Hold Harmless
I understand that international travel involves risks. In consideration for being allowed to participate:
I voluntarily assume all risks related to travel, health, political environments, and other unforeseen circumstances.
I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless Alphaeus Anderson, Music2Change U, PNH Foundation, their officers, staff, volunteers, other participants, parents and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, or damages resulting from participation in this trip.
3. Cancellation Clause (Political or Economic Conditions)
The organizers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the trip if political conditions, tariffs, or any governmental concerns create hesitation or safety concerns. If the trip is canceled, organizers are not liable for any personal inconvenience or loss incurred.
4. Medical Authorization
I give permission for trip leaders to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf if necessary. I understand I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred during the trip.

I have read and fully understand the terms above. I agree to participate willingly, understanding the expectations, and release all parties listed from liability.

Attire
We need to be prepared to present ourselves in a non sluggish way. The pants should be black, and neat (no joggers, or casual leggings for performances).
Shoes are closed-toe, and professional looking. Shirt should be tucked in.
